Meeting the President of The Gambia at the State House
Enter the DWB… in Africa

Meeting the President of The Gambia at the State House

When I faced the President sitting on a comfortable chair right across from his office desk, I felt I had not much to say. He was preoccupied with the soccer game on the vast screen standing on the right wall of the room, and I was happy he was happy, wishing I could just stand there and watch the game together. The gentleman on my right (one of the famous musketeers) opened the session by introducing himself and the bank he and his friends fell to sell to some previous fake investors, and really, this was not a good intro. The President knew the heartbreaking story of the Megabank in the past and therefore asked him to let me speak instead as I could pretty much well introduce myself and the foundation on my own. Then the room’s mood lightened up a little, and I couldn’t tell if Liverpool or Arsenal was leading the score, but Mr. President was indeed distracted by the sound of Arsenal, his favorite team winning. His tone was severe and unfriendly until I mentioned that I came to greet him here on the reference of the Bensouda family! Philip and Fatou Bensouda and their son Philip Abel had called me earlier to embrace the President on behalf of the entire family warmly. That did it! The smile was back on his face, and now he was away from watching the sport screen, and with just a few words, I introduced what I came to do in the Gambia. He was very interested and mentioned that all of our immediate Marine Foundation projects were precisely what the country needed in the most urgent times. President Barrow, I felt, is a kind man with the right intentions, but yet unable to achieve the dreams he cherishes to accomplish for his country. At the Marine Foundation, perhaps the teaching of absolute respect could lead a leader to do right by the people and nation. Respect for life and the environment would drive someone to bring improvement into the growth of people. In the era in which we live, and it has been the same in the past, a true leader thinks of others first. I am sure that President Barrow has that in his mind to realize and virtue to master until righteousness sinks into the planning of regional development. I presume that the work of being a Nation’s President is more a mission and than just a job.

President Adama Barrow

Adama Barrow is a Gambian politician and real estate developer who is the third and current President of the Gambia, in office since 2017. Enter the Lion (not the “Dragon”) – Enter the DWB… In Africa

Brian S. Mason

Chairman of the Development World Bank – Official Website

Native First Nations of the World

First Nations of the world, mainly represented by American Indians, have had their share of misery and struggle after their homeland became invaded by European settlers at the wake of the last century. Promises have been broken by the invaders and retribution to native people never been fulfilled. The DWB recognizes Africa as the Motherland of all Natives. The Development World Bank comes to Africa with the heart of giving first. Therefore under the principle of reforms in the banking system and using its wide PR sister organization, the Marine Foundation, it comes in peace with the goal of helping Africa become the greatest and most powerful economic region of the earth.

The DWB purchasing its own banking license in the Republic of the Gambia

Purchasing an established structure like the Megabank in the Gambia became a bad idea, and plan B resolved into our own financial structure from scratch and with the nation’s blessing. DWB will become a tool for developing the entire region with a platform that will attract investors and sponsors worldwide.

First Development World Bank is an Investment Corporation that Stands for the Well-being of the Humanities.

Ideology to Humanity’s support through a Unique and Futuristic Platform, by Administering and Implementing the Law of Common Sense.

The Structure is Set for Reforming the 21st Century with New Banking Systems Using its Own Economic Development Platform.

Continuation of Registration: Marine Foundation Gambia Branch

Registration Process

Philip Abel is really a remarkable person. Of course, this would have to be said in addition to the beautiful Lady of the house, Rose. I still ravish about her cooking skills who truly had me rethink Gambian cooking after the poor experience I had in the best hotel of the country: nothing beats home-cooking. A bit the same experience I had after dining at Mrs. Balde’s house last month where Sheraton food could not measure to her home-cooking. Again, Thank you Mimi (Madame Balde or Mama Africa) for your wonderful welcome. This extends now to the President Marine Foundation the Gambia who is meant to also meet Mrs. Balde, President of the Marine Foundation Guinea Conakry.

Registration Process.

The legal representing is the powerful “Amie Bensouda & Co” law firm and the bank is “Access Bank” which is considered to be the best in the country. Philip is the connection to all these good structures and truly it feels good to be so well representated. I was pleased to meet all the good network introduced by Philip and truly each time always a great comfort and pleasure to be talking to the right people.

A call for Celebration: A Blessing in Disguise

I would not hide the fact that I did promise and fulfill my commitment to support the unresolved billing of the 3 musketeers who were here at the Coco Ocean 3 months before my arrival and who failed to pay their bills due to the accidental disappearance of their original sponsor and pretendant buyer of the Megabank. Here is the facture which was billed to the Tourist Agency who made the reservation for them. This bill was paid on the 19th of May 2021. It is a call for celebration since this was put on my shoulder for the past 3 weeks, and trying to find out how I could help these people from going to jail. The 3 musketeers had a good heart, and they just needed help which acts on my part would turn out to become a blessing for the Marine Foundation later on. What happened is is that they stay in the hotel expecting the result to come through their client who had told them to stay there waiting for his return but the sponsor did not come back and their hope selling the Megabank was lost creating dilema for the Gambian government officials they met especially since the bank was the responsibility of the Central Bank who owned the bank and whose Governor lost his job and position because of this failure. The 3 musketeers had no choice to but to find someone to come and save the day. Therefore I received the call one week of my departure from Japan with my delegation to Guinea Conakry. I had noo clue of such story and I sincerely thought that going to the Gambia after completing the mission in Conackry was a good thing to do. After 3 days of being in the Gambia, late at night, the musketeers came over and explained that if they did not pay the bill below they would be picked up by the police on the next day. It was a hard decision for me and I did promise them that I would do the necessary after I met the police and keep them out of Jail until I am able to find a solution for them. After 3 weeks of struggle, the solution finally came and I was able, by the grace fo God, able to resolve their problem. Thanks God, my headacke was over and became able to focus on all the good things that supposelbly would be of matter, like regiestering the Marine Foundation and focusing on the real purpose of my coming here.

Welcomed into the ancestral Bensouda home, what an honor, with the great hospitality and excellent cooking of Rose Bensouda. On the occasion of a potential purchase of the Coco Ocean Resort & Spa, meeting the Owner, Philip’s Uncle Mr. Driss Bensouda.

The motivation to purchase Coco Ocean came through an assemble of facts that would guide me to start the research and even involve the parties concerned. I had the honor and chance to meet Mr. Driss Bensouda, a wonderful and kind gentleman, and frankly, I did enjoy conversing about the beautiful property of Coco Ocean. Honestly, I do love this place, and as I see the many potentials to hold our first Marine Embassy Resort and hub there. The hotel is much different than any structure I have seen before in that category of establishments. The landscape is truly amazing, and I must say it was excellently designed and conceived. The original owners and management must have given the best to the business until a few years back when they decided to depart for Europe. Since then, the place might not have given its best looks and services. A place like that is not easy to maintain. I really appreciated the meeting with Mr. Driss.

Arrival in the Gambia and the story of the 3 Musketeers
Coco Ocean Hotel Resort

Arrival in the Gambia and the 3 Musketeers.

After the successful Guinea Conakry delegation led by Mrs. Balde, I decided to fly to the Gambia on the solicitation request from 3 gentlemen (1 Gambian and 2 Senegalese) to purchase a bank called “Megabank” on sale by the government. The three new friends who then became the three musketeers had led me to believe that this would be an excellent opportunity for the DWB to establish itself in Africa in some turnkey situation. They did promise me to meet the Governor of the Central Bank and the President of the nation without protocol. Still, it did not happen and instead led to the compromised situation of supporting their expenses. The Megabank became something of a bad reference due to the many stories attached to its strange history. The option became for the DWB to get its financial license directly with the government. I then became interested in acquiring the falling Coco Ocean Resort. Still, the contradiction created by the story of the Megabank left a bitter conflict of interest with my present relations. I preferred to leave this to “time” and return to the property with a direct offer from the Marine Foundation to create the MER Resort (Marine Embassy Resorts Concept) later.

The Real Plan began to register the Marine Foundation’s branch office in the Gambia, and this became a complete success with Philip Abel Bensouda. He now stands as the president of the Marien Foundation The Gambia. The setup would include getting the structure to be receivable of funds immediately with the choice of the best banking structure of the country. Coming to the Gambia was a success since meeting the Bensouda Family. The unexpected turn of positive events was a blessing simply due to the base of a long friendly relationship with the most respected African family, Mrs. Fatou Bensouda, and her great husband, Philip. With his beautiful spouse Rose, the son, Philip Abel, is truly the most trusted people you would need if you came to work and invest in Africa.
