In Côte d’Ivoire, the Marine Foundation is preparing to officially launch its activities on February 20th. But before, this non-governmental organization was revealed to the Ivorians. The vision, mission, and purpose of this world-renowned public utility foundation were shared during a press briefing on Tuesday in Abidjan.

Still a few days for the Marine Foundation before starting its activities in Ivory Coast. But, the organization is already very active to better get to know the Ivorian populations. This Tokyo-based foundation in Japan is opening its Abidjan office to carry out economic, social and environmental development actions. “Our vision is to make our world a space that protects life by promoting brotherhood, solidarity, equity and lasting peace,” says Koura Ouattara, President of the Marine Foundation Côte d’Ivoire. Before stating that the mission of this foundation is to “guarantee to all and especially to the underprivileged, the economic and social development through good education, good health and a healthy environment”. Created about fifteen years ago, the Marine Foundation is a non-governmental organization born from the will of some people who want to change the world. It is now present in many countries in the world including Japan, Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, the DRC, Tanzania, and Switzerland.
