Highlights:
This will be our second day in Cairo. The day will anticipate a visit to the exhibition center and then to the pyramids. This should keep us busy. Later in the evening, meeting with Lady Sonia at the Ritz Carlton and then return to Tokyo Japan. Iwama-san is with us.
General Reports:
Last visit to the exhibition center.
I went back to meet a few more people at the exhibition center. One of my favorite visits was the art craft maker, her name Jerich. Since I do not have a website, I will write her email. While we stood to take a photo, I noticed she was missing one leg. Her art is quite amazing and I know could become a major brand, so I intend to help her through the Marine Foundation. The Pyramids: Another good adventure.
When I travel I rarely take the time to visit places as a tourist and here the funny part is that I was the only person wearing a piece suit riding on a camel in the middle of the desert. How fortunate! I am probably the only one ever! :). It was indeed a wonderful experience and below are pictures and video to give you a feel of the day. My favorite time was spent with the 14 years old boy, guiding us while we rode the fantastic animals. I am grateful to Sumi and Iwama-san who got me convinced to take the trip to the great pyramids of Egypt.
Iwama-san had just arrived in Egypt early in the morning. Well, he did want to see the Pyramids and I suppose he had a good time.
Final Meeting with Lady Sonia
After the visit of the Pyramids, we went straight to the Ritz Carlton to meet with Lady Sonia and Mohamed of the General Manager of the Casino there. It was a final great meeting to end our Journey to Egypt as on the same night we would ride to take Egypt Air back to Japan. The result commitment of the meeting was an agreement on strategic partnership to support societies at large through the background wealthy network of Lady Sonia.
Discoveries of Wonders:
Our guides were suer. The driver and our guide Ahmed the Best in all of Egypt were here to tell us all we needed to know. He was so funny in some kind of way and by the end of the day, you couldn’t help but love him!
