It was a great honor for the Marine Foundation Africa (Cote d’Ivoire) to welcome Mrs. Solange Weya, spouse to Ambassor of Cote d’Ivoire in Japan Mr. Jerome Weya. Mrs. Weya spent considerable time with discovering the activities of Mrs. Ouattra and made strategic gathering for the sake of public services to their communities.
Back in Tokyo, His Excellency Ambassor Weya and his compassionate Lady Solange have welcome the Marine Foundation numerous time at the Residence of the Embassy. Great friendship was tied due to the fact that the Cote d’Ivoire is the birth of the Marine Foundation in Africa.

Tabou is one of the most beautiful cities on the Côte d’Ivoire coastal strip. Located in the extreme southwest of Côte d’Ivoire, it covers an area of 5490 km² and is part of the Bas-Sassandra district, the capital of which is San-Pedro. The department includes two sub-prefectures: Tabou and Grabo. Tabou is located 443 km from Abidjan, 537 km from Yamoussoukro, 100 km from San-Pedro, and 20 km from Liberia. Economically, like the big cities of the coastal littoral, the city of Tabou lives primarily from direct and indirect activities in connection with the ocean, agriculture and trade. Thus, fishing, trade, cash crops: palm oil, coffee-cocoa, wood, rubber and food crops are the “spearhead” of the economy without forgetting tourism, which brings a little air to finances and populations.
