On November 4, 2022, the Marine Foundation was granted diplomatic status by the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. This prestigious recognition was conferred in acknowledgment of the diligent efforts of Mrs. H.E. Koura Niele Ouattara, President of Marine Foundation Africa. Mrs. Ouattara, with the support of the President-elect for Marine Foundation Guinea Conakry, is now endeavoring to secure a similar diplomatic status in Guinea. Mr. Camara has made significant contributions towards this goal, having already established and operationalized the office of the Marine Foundation in Guinea. This achievement marks another critical milestone for the Marine Foundation, as it gains recognition at the highest levels of diplomacy as a platform that will play a pivotal role in transforming Africa towards economic greatness.
