Meeting the President of The Gambia at the State House. When I faced the President sitting on a comfortable chair right across from his office desk, I felt I had nothing to say. He was preoccupied with the soccer game on the vast screen standing on the room’s right wall, and I was happy.

This week in Review: Philip Abel is really a remarkable person. But, of course, this would have to be said in addition to the beautiful Lady of the house, Rose. I am still ravishing her cooking skills, which truly had me rethink Gambian cooking after the poor experience I had in the best hotel in the country.

This week in review: After the successful Guinea Conakry delegation led by Mrs. Balde, I decided to fly to the Gambia on the solicitation request from 3 gentlemen (1 Gambian and 2 Senegalese) to purchase a bank called “Megabank” on sale by the government. The story of the three musketeers.
