How It Works

When you visit the Marine Foundation’s website, you can navigate to a continental welcome page, which allows you to select any nation from a dropdown menu. Each nation has its welcome page, with a Telegram link specific to that country. This link lets you register with the network as a Global Citizen, tied to your country of birth.

Special Telegram Features

In addition to individual nation links, there’s a particular MARINEF GOLD Telegram link. This link provides exclusive early access to news and updates. It’s a global channel that already includes discreet, high-profile members, including billionaires. One of the advantages of Telegram as a platform is its privacy: when you join or leave a group (or broadcasting channel), your actions are invisible to others. Plus, once you enter a channel, you can view the entire history of messages sent before you joined.

Network Structure and Roles

Youth Network Ambassadors (YNA) manage each nation’s Telegram channel, with at least five YNAs per nation. These ambassadors are responsible for sharing the latest blog announcements from the Marine Foundation on their national channels. If the YNA is also part of the MARINEF GOLD channel, they can copy and paste the new content directly to their nation’s channel.

All members within these channels and across the Marine Foundation’s platform are called Global Citizens. They are part of a membership group called the Global Citizens Live Association (GCLA).

Expanding the Network: MICC Structures

When a nation’s Telegram channel reaches 1,000 members, it is awarded a Marinef International Communication Center (MICC) structure. The MICC is exclusively available to the first 1,000 Global Citizens in that nation, and it becomes the foundation of the Global Citizen Network in that country.

As the network grows, each region within a nation can develop its channel. When a regional channel reaches 250,000 members, it gets its large MICC structure. The GCLA community website, which tracks the number of Global Citizens in each region and city, will naturally facilitate this process.

A MICC is more than just a communication center; it serves as a broadcasting hub where local businesses and establishments can register and promote their products and services.
