… Five Counties Targeted

The Government of Liberia has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Marine Foundation and the Marinef Corporation for the construction of the long waited George Manneh Weah Millennium Sports Complex in Liberia.

Five counties have initially been targeted for the project.

Speaking Monday October 22, 2018 in Monrovia, the Vice President of the Marine Foundation and Chairman of the Marinef Corporation Dr. Alhaji Alhussein O. Banao said the company chose Liberia long before the presidency of George Weah.

Dr. Banao indicated that the Sports Complex will be built in Montserrado, Nimba, Grand Bassa, Bong and Grand Gedeh counties.

He said the complex when constructed will have 90,000 seats in Monsterrado, 40,000 seats in Nimba, 30,000 in Grand Bassa, 20,000 in Bong and 15,000 in Grand Gedeh respectively.

He also stated that the company is prepared to start the construction immediately after the provision of lands by the Liberian Government in the next 60 days.

“The George Manneh Weah Millennium Sports complex is going to be a comprehensive international sporting complex in the heart of Monrovia; the complex will breed sporting champions in the country,” Dr. Banao said.

Dr. Banao said the marine foundation has come to invest in economic growth through business investment, employment and tourism; adding that the stadiums will also provide jobs for Liberian youth.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), Mulbah Morlu expressed his gratitude to the Marine foundation and Marinef Corporation for choosing Liberia to enhance the idea of Africans on the continent.

Morlu said the company’s ability to deliver to Liberia and invest in the country cannot be overemphasized because it is a respectable institution around the world.

He pledged the party’s support to working with the company to support the government’s pro poor agenda, indicating that when the project is implemented it will cement the legacy of President Weah.

For his part, Mr. Robert Quaye Dwuye Jr, Senior Economist at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning said the ministry supports the developmental goals of the company, and will work with the company to ensure that the project is successful.

Would a person need to direct the food to his stomach before digesting it? Would a child need a teacher to tell him to be close to his mother? Everything in nature is programmed to work perfectly and everything you ever need to know in relation is thought by the conscience. The rest is up to us. We are the miracle. We are the absolute source system of life and relationship. Do not fear anyone or anything, as long as you stay on the path, you will be protected. No governments, no conventional structures, no politics, no religions or cultures, no one, and nothing can stop the continuous growth of the Marine Foundation. It is because, within its systems unveils the purpose of creation, the purpose of all of us, the reason for living and passing. (Don’t misunderstand, this is not the salvation of the world thought by the prophets, saints or sages. Rather just a tool). Marine Foundation has never been a person’s invention but rather the discovery that all of us, without exception, are the makers of miracles. Regardless of your riches, status, beliefs, no can escape the fact that true love will always have the final word. The teaching of “Absolute Respect for Life and Environment” is the base system structure for that energy to flow and just like water it creates, cleans and comfort. Water is made of pure, true love, and without it into your own body, your eyes would not exist to see, your tongue and lips would not exist to speak or to kiss your loved ones. Our waters connect to one another, so believe me when I say this, if you have the slightest words or acts of disrespect for anyone you meet or the nature you touch, your body and your conscience will be the first to complain and to rebel against you, plotting to eventually scale you down to a dry old desert useless land of despair.
