A beautiful day meeting special people in Nagoya with the support of Takuya Hasegawa and Yoko Akahane. A beautiful evening meeting with Aya Miki and friends, and the discovery of new potential projects for Japan.

Reports:

The day started with Tokyo’s morning sun and ended in Nagoya, in the caring atmosphere of Takuya and his wonderful friends. I love traveling outside Tokyo from time to time and it is always a peaceful time. There is not much to say, except listening to the sounds of what’s really happening around. Today, I had the chance to meet Naoko Hiraiwa with her adorable children and yes it was then also an adorable time. I retired into the hotel to prepare for an early morning ride back to Tokyo and it was truly another moment of reflection. I can see the future through the future of our membership in Japan, being a community of people that stands open to the discovering of the world through the eyes of the Marine Foundation. I hope that the doors for Japan will open the opportunities of so many good adventures and eventually the set up of events that will mean good to the country. The day was filled with the revelation of meeting Aya Miki, who wearing a Kimono so fitted to the season and occasion, brought the atmosphere to grace and peace, as always friends of Takuya seem to permanently create.

Highlights:

This is a special day where I was able to meet people I haven’t see for 30 Years. It is refreshing and it wasn’t planned, at least not my me. Just a sudden inspiration and if that happens, you know that then heavens aften have something to do with it.

Reports:

This was a day like no other. I say that since it was a reflection of 30 years back into my life when I first came to Japan as a single man and pioneering my way through the land of the morning sun. Yes, through the spontaneous desire of Ayumi wanting to go to Kamakura, I just then decided to make it even better as to visiting my old friends in Fujisawa, which city I call my Japan birthplace. There are so many stories to tell but it would not want to take anyone’s time too much except, for now, showing you a few photos of people that I have known for over 30 years. It is not something I cannot describe in simple words but some of the stories back then are fun to hear.

My strategy in wanting to learn a new culture is to be in a place where I can meet those we do not usually see when on a trip abroad. So I decided to become homeless on the beaches of Kamakura and Fujisawa for a year and yes this is where I found my heaven in Japan. I was fed almost every day by old fishermen and grandmothers and I had a taste of meeting the warmest people in the world, like this family in Fujisawa who own this bar restaurant and live house. They still do to this day and the place has not changed. I remember playing the guitar there from time to time and the owner never charged me for food or drinks. Mr. Nishigai and his wife have never forgotten me and seeing me there after 30 years is really something. Today also some customers remembered me and yes that time became unforgettable. Fumiko a graduate of “Gedai” for example, back then, young and so beautiful used to help me write my music down on paper. She was there tonight, and wow, what a surprise. After my “One Year” experience, I became a successful consultant, always traveling between New York City where I had an apartment and Tokyo.

It was nice to introduce Ayumi wish whom I have had 2 children and just that got the laughter going in questions: “You, Tomeo, with children?” – and then the topic on the Marine Foundation, where I prefer not go into details and just saying I was involved with helping people through a foundation. But then, come to think of it, and to honor those who brought me up in this beautiful but back then strange country, I am deciding to open an Ocean Quarters right here in Fujisawa and yes the timing perfect if I can do that before 20/20 Olympics.

Learning the project development system of the Marine Foundation and its philosophical platform from which it will spray its wings.

Reports:

It is never too late to do good in one day of each of our life. That is the challenge we each have for the moment we live, seeking happiness on a constant basis. You would tell me that people are not seeking comfort, health, and prosperity, then we would live in a world of no hope. Today I spent the day reflecting on how the Marine Foundation would really make a difference in the world and that is real question isn’t it?

Accordingly, with the chart of the project description, we do intend to serve the world with, there is indeed 3 element of great involvement that we cannot avoid. It is on the page of each co-brand owner introductory section: We all need “Economy, Comfort and Health”.

Here is how we describe these 3 elements:

Economy represents a bright education. Some might say “money” and they would think that economic development starts at someone’s decision to build a hotel or manufacture. But at the Marine Foundation, the development of education on the “bright” level is the most important to a developing region or even a very developed region that want to assure sustainability for thousands of year. We need reforms to turn was has become conventionally dark and turn it to something very bright for all. Therefore the Marine Foundation is introducing 5 new systems that will revolutionize everything you know about going to school or learning a skill.

Comfort represents good communication. People are used to thinking of comfort as something external such as living in good houses or driving beautiful cars. At the Marine Foundation, comfort is all about “communications” at all levels of what that word really means. That is why we need technologies enabling anyone to reach regardless of geographical location or social status. When we are in a zone of comfort through good relations and fast communications, we can then start developing the prospect of association and personal growth.

Health represents a clean environment. We all seek perfect individual health and that is the case for everyone, rich or poor. But the problem with human health is always connected to how the management of our environment and the industrial revolution we have seen through the last century has left hazardous marks all throughout the planet. At the Marine Foundation, the protection and enhancement of our environment through solutions that means for cleanness and order is very important. On top of that, the research in finding solutions for a complete resolves to sicknesses is also the organization’s agenda.

I use therefore the term to just be Bright, Good and Clean. This is where the whole philosophy of the Marine Foundation’s project development platform.  Economy, Comfort, and Heath are the 3 point axes on which a country will rise perfectly in sustainability that can last forever. One of these missing and everything falls apart.

Presentation to Junko Tado, new Brand Owner member of the Marine Foundation’s headquarter Japan. Meeting with Takuya Hasegawa and Yoko Akahane who introduced Junko to the Marine Foundation. A beautiful day at “Oneness Food Cafe”.

Reports:

On Sunday the 13th of this month, I have the great opportunity to meet with Junko and Saori at “Oneness Cafe”, a concept well engineered to bring happiness to the neighborhood and certainly beyond. Today I spent time returning there, sharing more about the deeper lines of the Marine Foundation’s philosophy and philanthropy. It was a wonderful and meaningful time for me. Sometimes as I explain the system I am also learning through the inquisitive spirit of anyone asking, and the inspiration keeps flowing like rivers to the ocean. It never fells. Its interesting that when you have decided to live your life in the priority of others, the abundance of ideas that could to you can be staggeringly huge. It is almost like a never ending story and the universe we live is a perfect example of that. How long would it take to describe the abundance that surrounds us if we were to write just one book about it? It would be like building the “Notre Dame” Cathedral in Paris France, a sure 2o to 3 centuries of writings and assembling to brinks that makes it altogether a marvelous structure. Today I was inspired with giving this information to Junko and Saori, while Yoko patiently commenting and explaining. The day felt good. Giving is always good.

Highlights:

First, in the morning, a meeting with the next President of the Republic of Palau – Yoshie wanted to meet him as well for all of her projects in Hawaii and the timing was perfect as on Alan Seid’s way to New-York. Then in the afternoon the introduction meeting from Yuka to a man that I believe will be the most influential person in our 21st century. Truly a miracle and something that was written in the heavens.

Reports:

I have so much to say about this day. First I met with my great friend Alan Seid, a diplomat and a business who has a long career of serving his beautiful nation the Republic of Palau. Have you heard about Palau? Palau was the first country where the Marine Foundation had planned to install its magical Ocean Universal marine camp system. I have had the chance to go there several times where the warm hospitality of its people and it’s culture made me feel right at home. On one occasion I had the chance to dine with the President of the nation, best friend of Alan. Today I introduced Yoshie Ishii and she was pleased to meet someone who really could help her monitor her projects in Hawaii. Alan knows everyone there, from the governor to lawyers, to other great business leaders. In that part of Oceania, Palau is one nation along with Micronesia, which looks for great places to send their children to school. Lots of fortunate children from these regions have the chance to go complete schooling in Hawaii. That is where most of Alan’s children went and now always top of their classes have achieved unsurpassed successes. Marine Foundation has in its project planning to establish a Marine Elementary and High-school in Hawaii to benefit all the children of Oceania.

Today’s meeting was splendid because since Alan is our Honorary Chairman for Oceania, he always has the best intent for our foundation. The businesses that she proposed for Africa are amazing and I am taking hold of something that will help infrastructure work there in ways of modern and green technology. Also, a good friend of Alan and whom he introduced to the Marine Foundation, here in Japan is another co-Brand Owner Ms. Eiko Saito. But as he just passing by on his way to New York City, time was too little to meet other friends. Around the breakfast table of the fantastic Ginza hotel, 1 hour and a half were just enough to go through what was most important. (Note: the Marine Foundation will stand in great support of 20/20 Alan Seid for President of Palau).
