First School in Liberia – Marine Foundation Signature Project: Education & GAVCA’s Renovation of Schools in Liberia
- Partnership: The Global African Villages Care Alliance (GAVCA) and the Marine Foundation are collaborating to establish a school in Liberia, leveraging GAVCA’s community development expertise and the Marine Foundation’s innovative educational models.
- Location: The school is situated in Pipe Line, Pynesville, Montserrado County, Monrovia, Liberia.
- Objectives: The project aims to provide quality elementary education, serve as a prototype for the larger Sea Campus Universal (SCU) concept, integrate modern teaching methodologies, and foster community and environmental stewardship.
- Facilities and Features: The school will feature smart classrooms, science and technology labs, arts and music rooms, sports facilities, a health and wellness center, environmental sustainability features, and community engagement spaces.
